Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

• ITINERARY

  Day : 1 Delhi to Dharamshala | The Holy Residence of Dalai Lama and other Tibetan Monks

  Reach a predetermined spot in Delhi from where you'll board an AC Semi Sleeper Bus to Dharamshala. The overnight journey takes you through some of the most scenic views as you travel to the majestic Himalayas to reach Dharamshala the next morning.

• Day : 2 Reach Dharamshala & Excursion to McLeod Ganj | Witness Spellbinding Views of the Dhauladhars

  Upon reaching Dharamshala transfer to your pre-booked hotel, complete the check-in formalities, and rest for some time. After breakfast, you will be traveling to the beautiful suburb town of McLeod Ganj near Dharamshala, which is the spiritual capital of Buddhists and is home to the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Buddhists. You will be visiting the famous Bhagsunath Temple along with the beautiful Bhagsunath Waterfalls. Then continue your sightseeing tour by visiting the serene Dal Lake and the beautiful little hamlet known as the Naddi Village. Also, visit the Dalai Lama Temple and Lord Eligin's Memorial. Move back to Dharamshala which reflects a blend of Indian and Tibetan culture. You will be visiting the picturesque Dharamshala Cricket Stadium which offers stunning views of the snow-capped Himalayas and is one of the highest sports grounds in the world. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Dharamshala.

• Day : 3 - Transfer to Dalhousie & Sightseeing | A Beautiful Town where Spirituality Meets the Nature

  After enjoying a delicious breakfast in the morning check out from the hotel and leave for Dalhousie. Travel through the scenic route which offers mesmerizing views of Dhauladhar Mountain Ranges. As you wander in the fresh and pollution-free environment of Dalhousie, take a walk towards Satdhara and Panch Pulla waterfalls and relax by the cascading water that will refresh your soul. You can also choose to visit Subhash Baoli or the Chamunda Devi Shrine. Trek to the top of Khajjiar Wildlife Sanctuary or Ganji Pahadi will fascinate you with panoramic vistas. Witness the British heritage as you spot Scottish and Victorian architecture in the hill station. Return to the hotel after an extensive tour for dinner. Overnight stay in Dalhousie. • Day : 4 - Excursion to Khajjiar | A Little Hamlet known as 'Mini Switzerland of India'

  After breakfast, proceed for the Dalhousie Sightseeing tour. You can enjoy boating at Chamera lake, hike up at the Kalatop wildlife sanctuary and also pay your respects at the Chamunda Devi Temple. You will then head to Khajjiar where you can choose to visit famous places like Khajjiar Lake and the Khajji Nag Temple. In the evening drive back to Dalhousie and take some rest. Later you are free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Dalhousie town, known as The Mall in Gandhi Chowk. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dalhousie.

• Day : 5 - Dalhousie to Dharamshala & Departure | Soak in the majestic Dhauladhar Range

  Wake up in the mountains, after having a lip-smacking breakfast check out from the hotel, and start your drive towards Dharamshala. Soak in the scenic views of the majestic Dhauladhar ranges lined with tall oak and pine forest. The rest of the day is at your leisure. By evening, get dropped to the Dharamshala bus stand for your onward journey to Delhi. Board an overnight bus to Delhi.
